Progression Curve Explanation

The progression system in The Treasure Hunt is designed to feel smooth, rewarding, and increasingly challenging as players advance through the biomes. Each biome introduces higher treasure values, more complex puzzles, and a greater sense of achievement — all while keeping the game fair and enjoyable.

The progression curve is built on four core principles:

1. Early Game: Fast and Accessible

Biomes 1–3: Grass → Winter → Ember Canyon

These biomes are intentionally cheap to unlock and offer quick rewards. Players can progress rapidly, learning the basics of:

movement

cave exploration

chest hunting

simple puzzles

Goal: Give players a strong start and make the game feel exciting from the very beginning.

2. Mid Game: Steady Growth

Biomes 4–6: Marshlands → Desert → Crystal Caverns

Here, the difficulty increases gradually:

more complex terrain

trickier chest locations

higher ACP values

more grinding required

Players begin to feel the “real” progression curve, but without frustration.

Goal: Introduce challenge while keeping the experience fair and motivating.

3. Late Game: High Challenge, High Reward

Biomes 7–9: Redwood → Tidefall → Clockwork Valley

These biomes are designed for experienced players:

expensive unlock costs

advanced puzzle mechanics

dangerous environments

very high ACP ranges

Players must plan, grind, and use multipliers effectively.

Goal: Reward dedication with massive treasure gains and satisfying gameplay depth.

4. End Game: Prestige‑Level Difficulty

Biome 10: Shadow Realm

This biome represents the peak of the progression curve:

extremely high TP cost

unpredictable mechanics

rare chests (including one worth 220,000 TP)

the hardest puzzles in the game

This biome is not meant to be rushed — it is a long‑term goal for dedicated players.

Goal: Provide a final challenge that feels legendary and worth the effort.

Why This Progression Works

Your progression curve is strong because it follows the same structure used in top Roblox games:

Early game: fast dopamine

Mid game: steady grind

Late game: mastery and strategy

End game: prestige and bragging rights

Players always feel like they’re moving forward — never stuck, never bored.

Treasure Economy Overview

The treasure economy in The Treasure Hunt is built around a simple but powerful loop:

Find chests → Earn TP → Unlock biomes → Access higher ACP → Repeat

This loop creates a natural sense of progression, where players are constantly rewarded for exploring, improving, and pushing into harder areas.

The economy is designed around three main components:

1. Treasure Points (TP)

TP is the core currency of the game. Players earn TP by finding hidden chests across all biomes.

TP is influenced by:

the biome’s ACP (Average Chest Points)

chest rarity

multipliers from pets

luck boosts

biome difficulty

TP is used to:

unlock new biomes

purchase upgrades (future feature)

buy pets or boosts (future feature)

The system ensures that players always feel rewarded, even in early biomes.

2. Average Chest Points (ACP)

ACP represents the average TP value of chests in a biome. Higher biomes have higher ACP, meaning players earn more TP per chest as they progress.

Why ACP matters:

It defines the “value” of a biome

It determines how fast players can unlock the next biome

It creates a natural difficulty curve

It makes late‑game grinding feel powerful and satisfying

ACP increases dramatically in higher biomes, giving players a strong sense of progression.

3. Multipliers & Boosts

Players can increase their TP earnings through:

Pets

Provide permanent or temporary multipliers

Make grinding faster

Scale with biome difficulty

Luck Boosts

Increase the chance of finding rare or high‑value chests

Make ACP spikes more common

Future Boosts

Time‑limited multipliers

Event‑based bonuses

Seasonal boosts

These systems make the economy dynamic and customizable.

How the Economy Scales

The treasure economy follows a progressive exponential curve:

Early Game (Biomes 1–3)

Low prices

Low ACP

Fast progression

Designed to teach the game

Mid Game (Biomes 4–6)

Medium prices

Medium ACP

Steady grind

Players start using multipliers

Late Game (Biomes 7–9)

High prices

Very high ACP

Requires strategy and boosts

Grinding becomes satisfying

End Game (Biome 10)

Extremely high price

Extremely high ACP

Rare mega‑chests (up to 220,000 TP)

Prestige‑level content

This structure ensures that players always feel like they’re moving forward — never stuck, never bored.

Pet & Boost System Overview

The Pet & Boost system in The Treasure Hunt is designed to enhance the player’s treasure‑hunting experience by increasing TP earnings, improving luck, and making progression through the biomes faster and more exciting.

This system adds depth to the game’s economy and gives players meaningful choices about how they want to progress.

1. Pets — Permanent Multipliers

Pets are companions that follow the player and provide constant, passive bonuses. They are the backbone of the multiplier system.

What Pets Do

Increase TP earned per chest

Boost ACP spikes

Improve chances of rare chest spawns

Scale with biome difficulty

Make grinding significantly faster

Types of Pet Bonuses

TP Multiplier: +10% → +500% depending on rarity

Luck Boost: Higher chance of rare chests

Biome Bonus: Extra TP in specific biomes

Chest Finder: Slightly increases chest spawn detection

Pet Rarities (Suggested)

Common

Uncommon

Rare

Epic

Legendary

Mythical

Divine (end‑game tier)

Higher rarities give stronger multipliers and are harder to obtain.

2. Boosts — Temporary Power‑Ups

Boosts are time‑limited effects that give players a short burst of power. They are perfect for grinding sessions, events, or unlocking expensive biomes.

Types of Boosts

2× TP Boost: Doubles all TP earned for a limited time

2× Luck Boost: Increases rare chest chance

Biome Boost: Extra TP in a specific biome

Mega Boost: Combines TP + Luck for a short period

Boost Duration Examples

5 minutes

15 minutes

30 minutes

1 hour

Boosts stack with pets, creating huge multiplier spikes.

3. How Pets & Boosts Work Together

The real power comes from combining pets and boosts:

Example:

Base chest: 100 TP

Pet multiplier: ×3

TP Boost: ×2

Final TP: 100 × 3 × 2 = 600 TP per chest

This makes grinding feel incredibly rewarding, especially in high‑ACP biomes like:

Tidefall Coast

Clockwork Valley

Shadow Realm

Players love this feeling of exponential growth.

The Story Behind the World

Long before explorers arrived, the world of The Treasure Hunt was shaped by an ancient force known only as The Echo — a mysterious energy that flows beneath every biome. The Echo created the caves, the crystals, the shifting sands, the frozen lakes, and even the strange shadows that move on their own in the farthest regions.

But as centuries passed, the Echo fractured.

Each biome now holds a different fragment of this ancient power, hidden deep within treasure chests, puzzles, and forgotten structures. Some fragments glow with warmth, others freeze the ground, some distort time, and some bend light itself.

No one knows who built the first chests. No one knows why the fragments were sealed away. But one thing is certain:

The world is waking up again.

The Role of the Player

You are one of the new explorers drawn to this world — not by chance, but by the Echo itself. It calls to those who are curious, brave, and willing to uncover the truth.

As you travel through the biomes, you collect fragments of the Echo in the form of Treasure Points (TP). Each chest you open strengthens your connection to the world, allowing you to unlock new regions and uncover deeper mysteries.

The more you explore, the more the world responds.

The Biomes as Echo Fragments

Each biome represents a different “echo” of the ancient world:

Grass Biome — The Echo of Simplicity

Winter Biome — The Echo of Stillness

Ember Canyon — The Echo of Fire

Misty Marshlands — The Echo of Illusion

Sandstone Desert — The Echo of Time

Crystal Caverns — The Echo of Resonance

Redwood Highlands — The Echo of Growth

Tidefall Coast — The Echo of Motion

Clockwork Valley — The Echo of Order

Shadow Realm — The Echo of Darkness

Each echo behaves differently, shaping the terrain, the puzzles, and the treasures within.

The Deeper Mystery

Legends speak of a final place — a hidden region beyond even the Shadow Realm — where the Echo originated. Some say it is a realm of pure energy. Others believe it is the resting place of the first explorers. A few whisper that it is alive.

No one has reached it.

Yet.

Characters & Factions

Overview

The world of The Treasure Hunt is not empty. Across the biomes, explorers encounter mysterious figures, ancient guardians, and hidden factions — each connected to the Echo in different ways.

These characters and groups help shape the story, guide the player, and hint at deeper secrets buried within the world.

1. The Explorer (The Player)

Role: The one chosen by the Echo. Alignment: Neutral Goal: Discover the truth behind the biomes and collect Echo fragments.

The Explorer is not just a visitor — they are drawn to the world by the Echo itself. Every chest opened strengthens their connection, allowing them to unlock new regions and uncover hidden truths.

2. The Echo Guardians

Role: Ancient protectors of each biome Alignment: Varies by biome Goal: Maintain balance and protect Echo fragments

These mysterious beings were created long ago to guard the Echo’s power. They appear in different forms depending on the biome:

Grass Guardian: A simple, gentle presence

Winter Guardian: Silent and cold

Ember Guardian: Fiery and unpredictable

Marsh Guardian: Hidden in fog

Desert Guardian: Buried beneath the sands

Crystal Guardian: Resonates with light

Redwood Guardian: Ancient and wise

Tidefall Guardian: Moves with the tides

Clockwork Guardian: Mechanical and precise

Shadow Guardian: Exists only in darkness

Some help the player. Some test them. Some simply watch.

3. The Lost Explorers

Role: Those who came before Alignment: Unknown Goal: Unknown

Scattered notes, carvings, and symbols across the biomes suggest that others have explored this world before. Some vanished. Some left warnings. Some may still be out there — trapped, transformed, or waiting.

Their fate is one of the world’s greatest mysteries.

4. The Echo‑Touched

Role: Beings altered by Echo energy Alignment: Unstable Goal: Protect or consume Echo fragments

These creatures were once normal inhabitants of the world, but exposure to raw Echo energy changed them. They appear in deeper biomes and often guard rare treasure.

Their forms vary:

shimmering silhouettes

crystal‑infused creatures

shadow‑warped beings

mechanical constructs powered by Echo

They are not evil — just changed.

5. The Archivist (Future NPC)

Role: A guide who knows fragments of the truth Alignment: Helpful Goal: Help the player understand the Echo

The Archivist appears in mid‑game biomes, offering hints, lore, and small quests. They never reveal everything — only enough to push the player forward.

Their true identity is unknown.

6. The Echo Core (Final Mystery)

Role:

The source of all Echo energy

Alignment:

Unknown Goal:

Unknown

Some say it is alive.

Some say it is a machine.

Some say it is both.

Reaching it may require unlocking all biomes — and perhaps more.

Quest & Story Progression System

The quest system in The Treasure Hunt is designed to guide players through the world, reveal pieces of lore, and give structure to their journey — without forcing a linear story. Players progress at their own pace, but the world reacts to their discoveries.

The system is built around three layers:

Biome Quests (local objectives)

Echo Quests (story progression)

World Quests (major milestones)

1. Biome Quests — Local Exploration

Each biome contains a set of small, optional quests that teach the player about the environment and reward them with TP or boosts.

Examples:

World Events & Seasonal

The world of The Treasure Hunt is constantly evolving. Seasonal updates, limited‑time events, and world‑changing phenomena keep the game fresh, exciting, and full of surprises — even for players who have reached the highest biomes.

Events are designed around three core goals:

Reward active players

Introduce new mechanics and treasures

Expand the Echo lore in meaningful ways

A tall, icy mountain biome with frozen puzzles.

🌕 Moonlit Grove (Shadow Event)

A glowing forest biome visible only at night.

Stormbreaker Ridge (Echo Storm Event)

A lightning‑charged biome with electric chests.

These biomes disappear after the event — making them feel special and collectible.

Echo Core — The Ultimate Endgame System

Deep beneath all biomes, beyond the Shadow Realm, lies a place no explorer has ever reached: The Echo Core — the origin of all Echo energy, the source of every biome, every chest, every anomaly.

The Echo Core is not a biome. It is not a region. It is a living system that reacts to the player’s progress, choices, and mastery of the world.

This is the final challenge — the true endgame.

1. Unlocking the Echo Core

The Echo Core cannot be unlocked with TP alone. To enter, the player must complete three endgame requirements:

1. Collect Echo Fragments from all 10 biomes

Each biome contains a hidden, extremely rare fragment.

2. Complete the final Echo Quest: “The Fractured Heart”

A multi‑step quest that ties together all Echo lore.

3. Survive the Shadow Guardian’s Trial

A challenge room in the Shadow Realm where light and darkness shift unpredictably.

Only then does the entrance to the Echo Core reveal itself.

2. The Echo Core Environment

The Echo Core is unlike any other area:

Gravity shifts

Light bends

Platforms appear and disappear

Sound echoes in impossible ways

The world reacts to the player’s movement

It is a biome built on pure Echo energy, constantly changing shape.

Visual Identity

Floating shards of every biome

Pulsing energy veins

Fractured terrain suspended in mid‑air

A glowing core at the center

It feels like the world is rebuilding itself around you.

3. Echo Core Mechanics

The Echo Core introduces new mechanics not found anywhere else:

🌀 Reality Shifts

The environment changes every 30–60 seconds.

🔄 Echo Reversal

Some chests give negative TP unless opened in the correct phase.

🌈 Biome Fusion Zones

Areas where two biome mechanics overlap (e.g., fog + lava, shadows + crystals, tides + gears).

⏳ Time Fractures

Platforms freeze or rewind time.

🔍 Echo Vision

A temporary ability that reveals hidden paths.

This is the most complex and dynamic area in the entire game.

4. Echo Core Treasure System

The Echo Core contains the rarest treasure in the game:

Core Chests

25.000–150.000 TP

Fracture Chests

100.000–500.000 TP

Appear only during Reality Shifts

Prime Echo Chest (Ultra Rare)

1.000.000+ TP

Spawns once per server

Requires solving a multi‑phase puzzle

Protected by the Echo Core itself

This chest is the ultimate prize.

5. The Echo Core Boss — “The Heartkeeper”

At the center of the Echo Core lies The Heartkeeper, a guardian created to protect the original Echo.

Boss Traits

Shifts between biome forms

Uses light, sound, and time mechanics

Cannot be defeated by damage — only by solving its phases

Phases Example

Shadow Phase — avoid darkness

Crystal Phase — reflect beams

Tide Phase — survive rising energy waves

Clockwork Phase — sync moving platforms

Core Phase — stabilize the Echo Heart

Defeating the Heartkeeper does not kill it — it stabilizes the Echo.

6. Endgame Rewards

Echo Master Title

A permanent badge of mastery.

Core Pet

A pet infused with all biome echoes.

Echo Multiplier

A permanent +10% TP bonus across all biomes.
